2019 Upper Austria Ladies Linz – Singles

was the defending champion, but withdrew before the tournament started, due to injury.
Coco Gauff won her first WTA Tour title, defeating Jeļena Ostapenko in the final, 6–3, 1–6, 6–2. Gauff became the youngest player to win a WTA Tour singles title since Nicole Vaidišová in 2004. Gauff was a lucky loser, only receiving a spot in the tournament because Maria Sakkari withdrew 15 minutes before her first round match was due to begin. Gauff was only the third player in WTA history to win a tournament as a lucky loser, and the first since Olga Danilović won the Moscow River Cup in 2018.
