2013 Australian Open – Men's Singles


Two-time defending champion Novak Djokovic successfully defended his title by defeating Andy Murray in the final 6–7, 7–6, 6–3, 6–2 to win the Men's Singles tennis title at the 2013 Australian Open. In winning the 2013 title, Djokovic became the first man in the Open Era to win the Australian Open three consecutive times, and the third man after Roger Federer and Andre Agassi to win the title four times overall.
Djokovic retained the ATP number 1 ranking by reaching the semifinals after Federer failed to win the title. They were in contention for the top ranking at the start of the tournament.
