2005 in South Korean football
In 2005, the main football competitions in South Korea were the K League, won by Ulsan Hyundai FC; the Korean FA Cup, won by Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC; and the Korean League Cup, won by Suwon Samsung Bluewings. The South Korean team Busan IPark reached the semifinals of the AFC Champions League. The national team qualified for the 2006 FIFA World Cup by coming second in Group 1.
