2001 Honduran general election
General elections were held in Honduras to elect a president and parliament on 25 November 2001.Five candidates stood for election, representing the five parties with parliamentary representation. They were won by the National Party's Ricardo Maduro, who won over 50% of the vote, beating his nearest rival by 8%.Results
