1995 Australian Open – Women's Singles


Fourth-seeded Mary Pierce defeated Arantxa Sánchez Vicario 6–3, 6–2 in the final to win the Women's Singles tennis title at the 1995 Australian Open. Steffi Graf was the defending champion, however, she did not defend the title and withdrew due to an injury.
This was also notable as the first Grand Slam appearance of future world No. 1 and Grand Slam champion Martina Hingis, competing in the main draw. She lost in the second round to Kyōko Nagatsuka.
