1991 French Open – Women's Singles


was the defending champion, and successfully defended her title, defeating Arantxa Sánchez Vicario 6–3, 6–4 in the final of the 1991 French Open to win the Women's Singles tennis title for the second time in a row.
The tournament produced the most significant defeat ever had to suffer Steffi Graf in a Grand Slam tournament, as she won just two games in the semifinal against Vicario.
