1988 French Open – Men's Singles


Third-seeded Mats Wilander defeated Henri Leconte 7–5, 6–2, 6–1 in the final to win the Men's Singles tennis title at the 1988 French Open. This was his third and final French Open men's singles title. Leconte remains the last Frenchman to reach the French Open Men's Singles final. Ivan Lendl was the two-time defending champion, but lost in the quarterfinals to Jonas Svensson.
