1984 Michigan State Spartans football team


The 1984 Michigan State Spartans football team represented Michigan State University in the 1984 Big Ten Conference football season. In their second season under head coach George Perles, the Spartans compiled a 6–6 overall record and finished in a tie for sixth place in the Big Ten Conference.
Six Spartans were recognized by the Associated Press and/or the United Press International on the 1984 All-Big Ten Conference football team: linebacker Jim Morrissey ; defensive back Phil Parker ; running back Carl Butler ; center Mark Napolitan ; defensive lineman Kelly Quinn ; and placekicker and punter Ralf Mojsienenko.
