1969–70 Iraq Central FA Premier League

The 1969–70 Iraq Central FA Premier League was the 22nd season of the Iraq Central FA League. Eleven teams competed in the tournament, which was played in a single round-robin format rather than a double round-robin format, so each team only played each other once. Aliyat Al-Shorta won their fourth league title and Al-Shorta's fifth, and they became the first team since Al-Haris Al-Maliki fifteen years earlier to win four Central FA League titles in a row.
Aliyat Al-Shorta's title win qualified them for the 1971 Asian Champion Club Tournament, becoming the first ever Iraqi team to qualify for a major continental club competition. Al-Bareed's Kadhim Abboud was top scorer with eight goals.
