1960 United States presidential election in Wisconsin


The 1960 United States presidential election in Wisconsin was held on November 8, 1960 as part of the 1960 United States presidential election. State voters chose twelve electors to the Electoral College, who voted for president and vice president.
Republican Party candidate Richard Nixon won Wisconsin with 52% of the popular vote, winning the state's twelve electoral votes., this was the last time a Democrat won the presidency without winning Wisconsin, along with the last time Wisconsin would back the overall losing candidate in a presidential election until 1988.
