1936 United States presidential election in Idaho


The 1936 United States presidential election in Idaho took place on November 3, 1936, as part of the 1936 United States presidential election. State voters chose four representatives, or electors, to the Electoral College, who voted for president and vice president.
Idaho was won by incumbent President Franklin D. Roosevelt, running with Vice President John Nance Garner, with 62.96 percent of the popular vote, against Governor Alf Landon, running with Frank Knox, with 33.19 percent of the popular vote., this is the last occasion when Ada County, Canyon County, Gooding County, Jerome County, Lincoln County, Payette County and Twin Falls County voted for a Democratic Presidential candidate.
