1924 United States presidential election in New Mexico
The 1924 United States presidential election in New Mexico took place on November 4, 1924. All contemporary forty-eight state were part of the 1924 United States presidential election. State voters chose three electors to represent them in the Electoral College, which voted for President and Vice President.
New Mexico was won by incumbent President Calvin Coolidge, who ran against West Virginia Congressman John W. Davis, and Progressive Party icon Robert La Follette. That Coolidge won New Mexico with less than half of the vote is telling of the critical split his opponents between a conservative Southern Democrat compromise candidate and the more radical Progressive Party.Results
