Łysomice, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship


Łysomice is a village in Toruń County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina called Gmina Łysomice. It lies approximately north of Toruń.
The village in Kulmerland, Prussia, was in 1414 recorded as Poszemsdorff, also Pozensdorf, Posemannsdorf, Posmeszdorf, Posemsdorf, Pozensdorff, Pozendorf alias Lysomicze, Lysomic deutsch Posmendorff, Lysomice and Lissomitz. It had Kulm Law and belonged to the city of Thorn.
Todays village has a population of 1,100.
