Łyna, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship
Łyna is a village in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship in Poland, 16 km north of Nidzica in Nidzica County. It has a population of 440.
It lies approximately north of Nidzica and south of the regional capital Olsztyn.
The village is situated near the source of the River Alle, which is also named Łyna in Polish.History
It was first mentioned on 12 March 1387. At least since 1540 until 1945, Lahna was the seat of a church parish.
The Battle of Tannenberg took place nearby in August 1914.
