Émile Gaudreault


Émile Gaudreault is a Canadian film director and screenwriter.
Gaudreault studied media arts and technologies before going to work as a performer and writer for the Quebec comedy troupe Le Groupe Sanguin. He starred in Louis 19, King of the Airwaves , which he also co-wrote. It won the Golden Reel Award for top-grossing Canadian film in 1994. He has since written and directed two more Golden Reel winners, Wedding Night in 2002 and Father and Guns in 2010. His other credits include Mambo Italiano, Surviving My Mother , A Sense of Humour and Compulsive Liar .
He is openly gay.
